Have you ever read the book "Betrayed", by Stan Telchin? Worth buying and leaving around the house for your family to find.....

So continuing. My family had mixed reactions. Some didnt really care. Others felt I had done the dumbest thing possible. It was a mess. The questioning wasnt all the time though. Still when they had auestions I held strong. They flung arrows but I had a gambesson on. They would talk about Jesus myths. They would talk about constantine. They talked about the crusades. I wpuld defend and debunk when I could. They questioned me about Holding and Hearthstone. About talking to my grandparents about C.S Lewis or Andy Bannister or of course the bible itself. They got on to me for emailing Nick Peters and being on facebook with them. They would insult my school.

I pray for them. I hope one day they can see the truth.

I have not heard of that book. I did however learn from Mr Holdings freind DeeDee on hos recomended apologetics tab about a series I have started.
Jewish Objections to Jesus. It is good stuff.
My apologetics library also includes.
Screwtape Letters annotated with Screwtape prooses a toast.
Mere christianity.
The atheist who didnt exist- Andy Bannister. ( )
Cold Case Christianity- J Warner Wallace.
Can you be good without God?
And a book on christian virtue by lewis.
My grandparents have most of the books as well.

Your patience with them will go along way.... remember, "a quiet answer turneth away wrath" (Prov 15:1). Don't allow them to drag you into a battle - just continue to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might.

Also, you probably know the scripture... but honor the Messiah as Lord in your hearts. Always be ready to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you. (1 Pet 3:15)

Every time you interact with them, keep in mind the possibility that God may be using you to show them Jesus. Be kind, be polite, be respectful.....

Wouldn't it be fantastic if one of them asked you, "OK, so how come you're so different than you were before"?

They do sometimes say stuff like that I am different. They say I am more mellow. Less likely to get into fights. More resoonsible. That is not to say however that I am infallible.
