Yeah I like that genre: Simon and Garfunkle as an example.

Paul Simon is my favorite lyricist.

Oh Simon and Garfunkel wrote some lovely songs. Likewise Jackson Browne and James Taylor.

Kashmir, In the Light and When the Levee Breaks are probably my favorites of theirs. I like prog rock/metal, stuff like Haken, Dream Theater, Symphony X (I'm hoping to see Haken and Symphony X this summer).

More recently, I've gained an appreciation for electronica, especially trip hop.

Do you feel now that Stairway to Heaven is more fitting for you?

"I wanna be your backdoor man" might be difficult in that context.

Some folk music can work very well electronically.

Or even this - I rather miss it. It was used by the BBC to indicate it was switching from the World Service to its internal service BBC Radio 4. They ceased transmitting it in 2006.

                        Different meaning.

He wants to be the guy she has an affair with. The man who sneaks out the back door while hubby is coming in through the front door.

Ah! A theme not entirely dissimilar to Lyin' Eyes!
