  • You mean the post in which Sparko scoffed at a solution that FF showed had worked? You mean this post?:

Because that's what FF was responding to.

But hey, maybe you'd like to defend Sparko's scoffing at a scientific solution that's already been shown to work.
It was a joke, son. Cath got it. right over your head though.

Since when has wondering what God wants ever done any good? Answer: never.

OH, I got the joke. It was a joke mocking a evidence-based solution to a problem, a solution that's been shown to work. But hey, if you want to make jokes like that about life-saving techniques, that's cool. I'll make a joke about something I find way less important: Christianity.

What's more effective at dealing with Zika:
        1. evidence-based techniques like the one discussed by FF,
        2. the prayers of billions of Christians,
        3. the power of the Holy Ghost,
        4. figuring about whether God is OK with aborted fetuses,
        5. Mumra?
[*hint: four of these have exactly the same level of effectiveness]

That's good. I was worried, because as a joke yourself, I figured you would get it, but then your fake-outrage threw me for a minute. Carry on.

Have data? Every time someone wonders what God wants, see what happens, did you?

            • When push comes to shove:
While many governments have uselessly suggested that women do not get pregnant, requests for abortions have doubled in Brazil. More than 1,500 babies have been diagnosed with microcephaly caused by the zika virus.
A termination remains illegal in many parts of Latin America, but women simply turn to unofficial providers.
