Christian Pastor Saeed Abedini to be Released by Iran?

....Those reportedly being freed Saturday included Saeed Abedini, 35, of Boise, Idaho; Amir Hekmati, 32, of Flint, Mich.; and Nosratollah Khosavi-Roodsari, Iranian officials said. Fars News Agency named the fourth person as Nosratollah Khosrawi.

Abedini is a Christian pastor who had been imprisoned since July 2012 for organizing home churches. Hekmati is a former Marine who spent more than four years in prison on spying charges following his arrest in August 2011 during a visit to see his grandmother. The detention of Khosavi-Roodsari had not been previously publicized.

Brad Sherman, a Democrat Congressman from California says that this is an enormous victory for Iran's Intelligence agencies. The seven that we exchanged were convicted of procuring nuclear technology for Iran. That country heavily relies on such people to further their nuclear weapons and missile programs and now everyone in their network knows that if they get caught Iran will get them out. All they have to do is seize some American hostages.

Still, you have to be happy for the families of the hostages.

Listening to Pastor Abedini tell of his own torture, and the torture and murder of others in his presence, makes it really hard to swallow Obama's new BFF relationship with Iran.
