Yes, Demi, I know you are a real Christian, trolling for Christ with the objective of making a mockery of the faith. And you are doing such a good job too.

Frankly, this idea that we can cordon off individual actions and judge them in isolation without looking at the bigger picture seems absurd to me.

Castro is a tyrant, who killed tens of thousands of the Cuban people and suppressed the rights of generations of Cubans. Both Hitler and Castro are tyrants, the difference is Hitler controlled one of the most powerful countries in the world, while Castro controlled a small, island nation.
"The man from the yacht thought he was the first to find England; I thought I was the first to find Europe. I did try to found a heresy of my own; and when I had put the last touches to it, I discovered that it was orthodoxy."

But he taught them to read! That's a good thing, isn't it? How can you be so judgmental?

Possibly because like Bernie Sanders and other ignorant liberals, they are only familiar with a whitewashed, idealized version of Cuban history and don't know what Castro really did.

Now if only we could figure out how to downplay that pesky Holocaust then Hitler would look like a pretty righteous dude who brought unity and prosperity to Germany. Unity and prosperity are good things!

What did Castro actually do? Does Florida have anything to do with it?

Dictators tend to have great admiration for dictators who have managed to stay on top for as long and as successfully as Castro did. Just sayin'.
