Please do it elsewhere, shuny. This thread focuses on the glorious rise of the honourable oligarch Bloomberg.

Bloomberg is no longer in the picture.

Officially-wise maybe, but not corrupt-wise. He has unlimited cash resources. He even admitted during the last debate he bought off congress people. And we all know how corrupt the DNC is. Chances are greater now that this will end up in the hands of the Supers, which means corruption will assuredly reign supreme.

Buttigieg and Klobuchar have both dropped out on the eve of Super Tuesday with the latter supposed to endorse Biden at a campaign rally later today.

I'm always still in trouble again

That's why I said "officially" out. He didn't have a chance doing it legit. He was doing it dirty, even bribing some of the supers even before the convention, and that's exactly how he would have done it had this been closer competition between Biden and Bernie. If Bernie had had the kind of success that Biden had on Tue., I doubt Bloom would have bowed out so early, and I have no doubt DNC would have found a way to shut Bernie out. And I highly doubt the moderates rallying around Biden RIGHT before Tue, when none of them had anything to lose to stay in until after, wasn't some sort of orchestrated backroom deal.

Biden won in states he never campaigned in or ran ads. Some had only one field office in them. And Bloomberg outspent him by something like 50-to-1.

So much for the cry that we need to clamp down on campaign spending because it's buying elections.

MSNBC laments that Bloomberg's $500 million campaign could have been used to give every American citizen $1 million instead. That's right, they ran a segment saying that $500 million divided among 327 million citizens equals $1 million per citizen.

It was. I forget where I read it, but both Klobucher and Buttgig were in talks with the DNC before dropping out and throwing their support to Biden. Apparently Buttgig's conference call included the DNC, Biden, and Obama.

It explains why liberals think we can easily fund all their socialist freebies without raising taxes sky high.
