If you were a government leader, in Iran, and you see the US is rather good at toppling governments, would you want to try? The US is quite good at kicking in the door and wiping out governments and since Iran is ran by a government, that would be a problem for them. Now pacification is a different story, but that means little to those in charge, that will likely be killed or driven to live in a hole and hope they are not next. Remember, Saddam and most of his major government figures are dead, in jail, or hiding.

Saddam and his lackeys, most of the leadership of the insurgency which followed are dead. But what did it accomplish? That question is important, because it part of any just war discussion.

Not necessarily. Congress isn't necessarily going to put the country through impeachment every time the President does something corrupt. They weigh the seriousness of the crime, or in Trumps case, the multiple crimes, when deciding wherther or not to impeach.

Likewise, the Secret Service is constitutionally required to pay for space it uses thanks to the third amendment. Presidents get paid for Secret Service protection that uses their property. It’s a well known fact. Sam nor Jim seemed able to refute these points, maybe you’ll fair better.

The point is that, well for one thing he blatantly lied to you boobs saying that if you elect him he wouldn't be playing golf like Obama did, yet he plays more than twice as much, and more importantly he's using his own resorts requiring that his entourage and security, travel there, lodge there etc., and spend tax dollars there putting millions into his own pockets. What he said about shooting someone on fifth ave and he wouldn't lose support from his cult members obviously goes for whatever he does.

I never said that Trump was pocketing all the monies spent, it's a waste of taxpayer dollars nonetheless. But millions of those dollars are going into Trumps own pocket. If that were Obama you'd be hypocritically screaming from the rooftops about how corrupt he is.
