Several years back there was a Senate race in I think New Jersey. Both candidates were incredibly unpopular so just a couple months out from the election the Democrats got their candidate to step aside and nominated in his stead a former retired Senator who was still fairly popular. Of course it was way too late to put him on the ballot so the Democrats started screaming about disenfranchising voters and the like and lo and behold they simply ignored the rules and laws and reprinted the ballots any way.

True story....
When I was dating my gonna-be wife, I was a police officer, and took her to the police range to teach her how to shoot.
I set up my .357 Magnum Security Sex on the table, pointed downrange at the 7 yard target (start off easy), loaded with .38 wadcutter.
I suggested she go ahead and take a couple shots, then I'll help her with her stance and aim and general technique.
After THREE BULLSEYES in a row, I told her that was enough for one day, and we'll come back another time.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.Comment
