And stop trying to pretend it's the Dem's fault for rightly pointing out the obvious flaws in Republicans' woeful nominees. Try instead asking what is wrong with the Republican party such that so many of its presidential administrations are so full of criminals and so many of its judicial appointments have such obvious flaws."The man from the yacht thought he was the first to find England; I thought I was the first to find Europe. I did try to found a heresy of my own; and when I had put the last touches to it, I discovered that it was orthodoxy."

Many (like 5) accusers against Kavanaugh have recanted their claims. Is this Dems promotion of these false testimonies good for America?

.
I could only ask that Dems would start putting the constitution first. It is funny -- you don't like our constitution and neither do the Dems. So what is the sudden interest in virtue signalling the adherence to the constitution?

The aspect that stands out to me is of the statement of a belief (or one's standing) that shouldn't be said -- or shouldn't need to be said. I would apply this to any of the three examples at hand (Pelosi, the confessing Christian, the confessing white boy). In the case of Pelosi, the adherence to the constitution should have been inherent to her work and thus would be fully redundant to state aloud.
So the issue in my estimation is that there is an obligatory claim to virtue (or greater virtue). Maybe the Christian confession or the white boy confession would be one of stating superfluous context for asking a question.
