You''re really not very good at this, Star.
Is National Security a joke to you?

These SCIFs are supposed to be the secure facilities that the country's most sensitive data can be accessed in safe from foreign spying. Bringing cellphones and other electronic equipment that may have been compromised by foreign adversaries into a SCIF is a major security breach. Those responsible for doing so deliberately and knowingly should go to prison and be expelled from congress.

But they won't, because they're Republicans. And Republicans seem to never face consequences for their endless lawbreaking because the Democrats don't have a spine between them.

Amazingly, of the 41 Republicans who 'stormed' the hearing, 13 of them were supposed to be there anyway as they are part of the group of 48 Republicans who sit on the 3 committees in attendance. Guess I'll 'storm' the next meeting at work I'm scheduled to attend.

I don't think that's helpful to say - the vast majority of them aren't pro-Putin at all. Nor are they anti-Putin, they don't care one way or another about him. Nor, are many of them, if any, in their hearts pro-Trump. Nor are they pro-America, pro-truth, or pro-law. What they are is pro-sell-out, pro-maintaining-power, pro-kowtow-to-their-base, pro-support-their-own-'side', and pro-get-themselves-reelected. Pretty much all the GOP politicians to the last are in it to make money for themselves. That means selling out to special interests to the maximum possible extent, being as corrupt as possible, and getting reelected and staying in power for as long as possible. To achieve that goal they'll say anything at all and break any laws and ignore any other principles. The only reason they defend Trump is because their base wants them to side with their guy, and the Republican politicians want to be reelected again so they can continue to make huge amounts of money through corruption. The moment they think they'll make more money or further their own political career by turning against Trump or siding with Putin or with Turkey against the Kurds or whoever else, is the moment they'll switch, because they have no principles whatsoever other than self-benefit.

Actually, what should happen is that each and everyone should be forced to hand over their cellphones where they can be placed in a faraday chamber, thoroughly examined for potential spyware and trojans, and then destroyed. And that should have happened before they were ever allowed to exit the SCIF.

Since Pelosi is right behind Pence in line, I'm not so sure Trump would do that - but there will be no end to motivation for those pushing impeachment to try their damnedest to pull down Pence as well.
