Federal documents must be preserved. Campaign documents must be preserved if there's a preservation order, as there was during the Mueller investigation. Trying to pin a gold star on Trump for that is ... not impressive.

And you still have avoided my question regarding executive privilege.

They're supposed to be preserved but often are still disposed of or "lost." And it was everything including stuff not originally on paper Someone once made 33,000 of those disappear and even had devices smashed with hammers to avoid turning anything over. In any case, name another president who had been so cooperative before.

I'm always still in trouble again

Which is exactly what they did when they were in charge of the hearings in the House, right? Right?

Yes, it is exactly what they did when they were in charge of the hearings in the House. Very effectively given that key witnesses were blocked from appearing by Trump.

I am not at all sure folks on the right are listening to themselves anymore and fairly sure that their sense of ethics requires that they not be listening to themselves.

I am not at all sure folks on the left are listening to themselves anymore and fairly sure that their lack of sanity requires that they not be listening to themselves.

The House ran their portion of the impeachment proceedings exactly the way they wanted to run them.

Now you "folks on the left" are so deranged as to think that the "folks on the left" should determine how the Senate runs their portion of the impeachment proceedings.

What exactly was so unfair about the impeachment proceedings in the house?

The whole scam that impeachment wouldn't happen without "something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan" (Nancy made that claim), and it actually happened on purely partisan lines. The ONLY thing that was bipartisan was a few Democrats voting no.

                It went downhill from there.

So because the impeachment inquiry started without bipartisan support that makes the rest of the proceedings unfair?

                  That seems pretty weak.

Since democrats are all partisan hacks according to you, if a democrat president had clearly committed an impeachable act but no democrats supported impeachment purely because of their partisan hackiness, would it then be unfair for a GOP majority House to commence impeachment proceedings?

That's kinda like "just because we lied to get a search warrant, do we still have to let the accused go?"

                      That seems pretty weak.
Look at the result. Rather than have an overwhelming percentage of the American people on board, the needle barely moved.

Since democrats are all partisan hacks according to you,
No, now... hold off. I never said that, friend. I have a lot of Democrat friends who are good decent honest (though misled) people.

AND, you have to provide the rest of the equation for this scenario.... the Senate was pretty much guaranteed not to convict and remove.

I'll repeat what Nancy said --

In this particular case, I agree with Nancy 100%.

I do not believe in weaponizing impeachment.

Always good to see you, Charles. There's a certain reassurance in knowing that Nanny is on the job.

Unfortunately, that's all he does. He simply looks for ways to support the false existing narrative swirling round his brain. When he can't come up with something he simply calls his interlocutors nutty. Trumpsters can never be accused of being critical thinkers.

This is why the needle has dramatically moved and Americans are OVERWHELMINGLY in favor of tossing Trump out, eh?

The only "effective" things it has done so far...

                              A) raise tons of money for Trump and
                              2) pretty much guaranty him a second term.

                                Obama, Clinton, Bush.

All presidents have been subjected to oversight investigations. All have complied with witnesses and document production throughout their term. Trump is unusual for his lack of cooperation, both in the Mueller investigation and now during his impeachment.
