When did he ask it? Right after Zelenski discussed his need and desire for missiles that would help prevent Russian aggression.
Again you play the 'naivete' game. The request itself is illegal and immoral, a violation of Trumps oath of office to protect the constitution and sovereignty of the US. The juxtaposition of the request up against a need from Zelenski makes it a 'quid pro quo'. Nothing explicit needs to be said. When you add in the Trump directed DELAY in delivering the funding and the fact that Zelenski did not act on Trump's request and it's a slam dunk. That is what it was, and anyone older than 12 can see if for what it is. Your denials are just naked distortions of fact anyone with half a brain and one functioning eye can see through.
