You'd have to describe for me what kind of wall you're talking about when you're talking about Trump's wall. His original plan? Or just already agreed upon extensions of the border fencing that Obama had already approved?
I don't think you'll ever see that fourty feet high, barb wire fenced wall Sparko. Its not a political, or practical reality for the US. Your border is winding. You'd either have to annex parts of Mexico, or secede soil, or build it winding around. And you'd still have strange areas where the border goes along a river in the middle, and you'd still have thousands of miles to monitor. And it would not cost a billion dollars, but dozens or hundreds of billions dollars to build.
That super wall is a dream. You know that Sparko. I have to believe you actually know that. It was a pipedream for election day. No one wants it to be build. Not the democrats, and certainly not the Republicans.
So the only wall we can talk about are reasonable extensions of the already existing border fencing. Not coast to coast, but just in various strategic hot spots.
Would that stop illegal immigration? Honestly I don't think it would. They'd just be forced to cross the border in remote areas, crossing deserts or mountains.
