You can't say the same about Buttigieg. He may be a Christian, I don't know.
Our entire debate here is purely about Tassman proclaiming that Buttigieg himself claimed to be a "Practicing Christian" and when we asked him for a source he is unable to provide one, and he keeps changing his story about what his initial claim was.
This is about Tassman's propensity to make up stuff and claim it as fact and not being able to back it up.The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy...returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. That just doesn't sound much like we should keep it to ourselves.

Let's start there. And you can have the last word.
Again.
The discussion I involved myself in was about "practicing Christian," and the suggestion put forward that Buttigieg is not evidencing being a "practicing" Christian (e.g., engaged with his community, attending services, living his Christian faith). I noted that it is possible he is not a "practicing Christian," or it is possible he is adhering to the passage I cited. Knowing what is going on requires knowing the man's heart, so I think folks are over-reaching.
Somehow that all became "a good Christian cannot talk about his faith," which is not something I ever said or suggested or thought. Indeed, I don't try to define what a "good Christian" is since I am no longer one.
And my morbid curiosity is satisfied, and my suspicions confirmed. Thanks for the response. The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy...returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars.
