They quoted an anonymous source who was citing anonymous sources. This was pointed out to you in another thread when you even cited an article from the New York Times which actually confirmed this. As I said, anonymous sources quoted by the reputable NY Times and the Washington Post and therefore to be taken seriously. They have a reputation to protect.

What we know at this point is that there is insufficient evidence beyond reasonable doubt to convict Trump of collusion with the Russian Govt. We do NOT know of what this evidence consists.

What's obvious now is that Mueller and his goon squad knew from day one that there was no Russian collusion, and so the bulk of the investigation was spent trying to manufacture obstruction of justice charges against an innocent man who's only "crime" was protesting his innocence.
