George Papadopoulos, the Trump campaign adviser who triggered the Russia investigation, was sentenced to 14 days in prison after pleading guilty to one count of making false statements to the FBI.

Further, Papadopoulos was sentenced to 12 months of supervised release and 200 hours of community service. The 31-year-old was also ordered to pay a $9,500 fine.

A slap on the wrist for a "crime" that was only committed because Dirty Cop Mueller was using every dirty trick in the book to squeeze him for information.

Oh, and remember how the liberals were crowing about Papa being a "cooperating witness" who would give up the goods on Trump?

    Yeah, about that:

Even after his arrest and plea agreement last year, prosecutors say Papadopoulos continued to be difficult with investigators, only providing information after being confronted with documents such as emails and text messages. Overall, they say

And despite everything, 14-days is only a tiny fraction of the six-months Mueller was pushing for. Interesting, huh? That had to be humiliating for Mueller. It's just too bad the judge didn't throw the whole thing out

    So let's recap:
Nobody Special Counsel Mueller has charged has ever been found "not guilty" by a court on any charge brought

Of the 33 people so far indicted, 9 have so far pleaded guilty or been found guilty by a court, with the remaining trials outstanding.

    Trump has had:
    - His campaign chairman found guilty
    - His long-time personal lawyer pleading guilty and declaring in court that Trump instructed him to violate campaign finance laws
    - Three further people who worked on his campaign plead guilty
    - The first two Republican congressmen to endorse him also indicted (on unrelated issues)

Let me also remind readers that since Nixon it has been typical for Republican administrations to be full of criminals:

The rampant criminality of Trump and his associates is actually normal for Republicans. And for their current Supreme Court nominee Kavanaugh to have been found to be a Nixon-esque operative who knowing received documents stolen by spies placed in the Democratic party, is normal wanton Republican criminality.

Papadopoulos is a small-fry guy who couldn't decide whether to cooperate with Mueller or hold out for a pardon from Trump, and kept flipping back and forth. His indecision is getting him a slap on the wrist with a short stint in jail. But Mueller's moved on to the big fish. Trump's like a slowing boiling frog at this point, as all the people around him are gradually prosecuted and flip on him.

Of those 33, 25 are Russians, and we can hardly forget about the "Russian trolls" that Mueller indicted only to tell the judge "The dog ate my homework" when their lawyers showed up in court and asked to see the evidence.

Of the others that have plead guilty, two are "process crimes" that only happened because Dirty Cop Mueller loves to punish his witnesses with perjury traps when they don't tell him what he wants to hear. Two are for crimes committed long before Trump even announced his candidacy. And the others are against people that have no connection whatsoever to Trump.

As for Cohen, he was suckered into pleading guilty to something that isn't even a crime in exchange for a drastically reduced sentence.

Then there's Junior's Trump Tower meeting. Somebody definitely needs to be charged for that only because it's looking more and more like the Hillary camp was conspiring with Russia to entrap Trump Jr!

It must be contagious. What with your paranoid conspiracy theories you are as deranged as Trump himself.

Not at all. It's merely an observation based upon the considerable evidence from the likes of Bob Woodward and many others that current and former aides call President Donald Trump an "idiot" and a "liar," disparaging his judgement and claiming that he is unfit to govern. When there is so much evidence from a large variety people in a position to know it behooves us to take it seriously.

Strange how you haven't touched a single fact in anything I've posted. I wonder why?

This again? First, the documents were not really "stolen", as Manuel Miranda did not obtain them illegally; the Democrats goofed up and put them on a server that was shared between the Democrats and Republicans, so no hacking took place. Reading them was perhaps unethical, but not illegal. Second, and more importantly, there is (as far as I can tell) no actual proof Kavanaugh knew he was receiving information from "stolen" documents. Even the aforementioned Manuel Miranda, the guy who gave him the information, said that he didn't tell Kavanaugh where the information came from. Admittedly, Miranda could be lying to protect Kavanaugh, but given the absence of actual evidence Kavanaugh knew the information's source, the claim he "knowing[ly] received documents stolen by spies" (setting aside the fact there was nothing actually illegal about them being obtained, so "stolen" does not seem to be the proper word) is naught but supposition.

Conspiracy theories, paranoid inferences and anti Obama/Hillary narratives of the sort generated by the Trump-promoting media are largely fact free and designed to create negative impressions rather than provide facts. Real, actual "facts" are the enemy of charlatans like Trump and his associates.

It would be easier for you to provide actual facts from the voluminous 'Trump-Spin' media outlets you've referenced that are uncontaminated by conspiracy theories, paranoid inferences and anti Obama/Hillary narratives designed to promote Trump at the expense of facts. Shouldn't take you long.
