How does this prove that Google manipulated search results? This looks like a "get out the vote drive", not the alteration of search results.

Google, by its own admission, specifically targeted Hispanics in key states in a partisan fashion thinking it would give Hillary the edge she needed to win. I would find it very hard to believe that their efforts to swing voters towards Hillary began and ended with this sketchy scheme.

So here we have cold, hard proof that Google tried to manipulate the election in Hillary's favor.
No, we have a Breitbart article, which isn't "cold, hard proof" of anything other than some-one at Breitbart wrote this.

Also, as OBP noted, it doesn't say anything about Google manipulating search results. That is still conspiracy territory.

              Or, more succinctly, it doesn't.

I wouldn't call "get out the vote drives" sketchy, though they are quite often partisan, as this one was.

Not to my knowledge, but Google has not disputed the authenticity of the quotes.

It seems likely considering she said:

Given her admissions to be supporting Hillary, I bet they also made sure to translate the results they wanted to promote. At the very least she admits that the actual search engine was involved, not just external methods.

It reminds me of some of the "non-partisan" vote drives of the past.

Back in 2000 Eric Schmitt, a reporter for the New York Times wrote about MTV's "Rock the Vote" campaign saying

I'm always still in trouble again

"You're by far the worst poster on TWeb" and "TWeb's biggest liar" --starlight (the guy who says Stalin was a right-winger)
"Overall I would rate the withdrawal from Afghanistan as by far the best thing Biden's done" --Starlight
"Of course, human life begins at fertilization that’s not the argument." --Tassman

That's not at all about manipulating search results - just about making it easier for Spanish speakers to run searches.

They said they did it with the specific goal of boosting turnout in a demographic that they assumed would favor Hillary.

Of course. It still has nothing whatever to do with manipulating search results.
