And I admire his attempts to keep his campaign promises even when I don't agree with all of them (like 'the border wall' which I think is a waste and a boondoggle). So many politicians will make many promises before their are elected, only to get amnesia immediately after the election.
As for the last bit, I'll never forget what George Stephanopoulos said on CNN a few years after his boss Bill Clinton was elected: "The President has kept all the promises he intended to keep."

When it became clear that Trump was a viable candidate and had the best chance of beating Hillary then I said, "Looks like he's our guy," and happily voted for him on election day. And you know what? He's been a pretty darn good president.
But now, I'm delighted I did. If things continue roughly as they are now, highly unlikely I'd consider supporting a challenger in 2020.Geislerminian Antinomian Kenotic Charispneumaticostal Gender Mutualist-Egalitarian.

Wow I guess that means I and the rest of middle class America are "wealthy" then? I am getting $1500 a year more because of his tax cuts.

Ha ha ha, you're Archie Bunker funny, Sparko. About 30 bucks a week, and most are getting much less than that, but then you are losing the same because of his tarrif induced inflation and higher heathcare costs. Glad it makes you feel better anyway!

But if he is wealthy, then he is part of the problem he keeps complaining about. He is as bad as Michael Moore complaining about the 1%. He complains about capitalism which he used to get rich.

This one is actually quite funny. Pence is confronted with obvious hypocrisy and starts talking about his hair colour: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Durb04AK_B8
It is only a two minute clip. As you will all note, the shining moral star, Pence, does not push Trump for a more constructive way of handling critics. Things have changed since Pence took words against Obama.

Yeah, I'm absolutely stunned. The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Yeah, I'm absolutely stunned.
It's the double standard problem. But of course you missed that.
Here is another great example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1m5tEAm7sjs
I love to listen to Pence's claim that Trump did regret some statements and then knowing Trump continues and continues and continues his name calling. So much for that statement. And by the way: note the extreme number of ad hominems. He is so reluctant to answer a rather obvious question that he need to throw dirt on Hillary instead.Last edited by Charles; 08-19-2018, 10:24 AM.
