Of course not, but the "government funded" part isn't why I wouldn't trust them.

I'd be more likely to support the Nation in laws like these once it rids itself of the parasitic State:

The American government has broken the social contract with the historic American nation.

So no, I would not currently put the current US government in charge of sterilization, or indeed in charge of anything important to the future, until such time as the dangerous ethnocentric minorities have been entirely cleared out, as a great deal of them have casually declared war on common white people, otherwise known as "the historic American nation." These are post-revolutionary proposals, not pre-revolutionary.
