Nowhere is there any suggestion that a man having two wives (and also impregnating their servants) is even unusual, let alone wrong. The question of whether a man should be allowed to have two wives isn't even mentioned. Nor does Jacob suffer for having two wives, other than paying with twice as much labour; instead God blesses him with children and livestock and protects him.

And Jacob did suffer. His youngest son (at that point) was sold into slavery in Egypt by his jealous brothers and his entire race became slaves in Egypt a number of years later.

There is judgment for all sin. You might not see it now, but you will eventually.
