I think the problem is that they didn't make it clear from the beginning, and allowed everyone to think the whole thing was what Moore wrote, and did not bother to correct it even when it was first questioned, and then did not let anyone examine the book. When pressed they came up with this "explanation". It makes the whole thing sound fishy. When did she "add" the date and location? at the time? 30 years later? How do we know that what she wrote is accurate? How do we know that the inscription is really Moore's? It makes her whole story less reliable.

The details were supposed to prove that she met moore at a particular time and place, if she wrote them at a different time then the yearbook doesn't prove anything. Most importantly, the ink used to write the extra details is also the ink used to write Moore*, DA because she's dumb and didn't realize the DA from moore's signature that she copied was his assistant's initials (moore was not the DA at the time). allred also said "ray" signed it before the lying accuser corrected her in the original press conference, so it's possible the yearbook was actually signed by some guy named ray, and it was close enough to roy to use as a basis for forging.

We already knew the signature was forged, but the MSM called it a "conspiracy theory" until now, when she finally admitted to it.

The yearbook message was written in cursive while the extra info was printed. that's an easy, cheap way of saying the same person wrote it without having to forge two extra lines of cursive that she couldn't copy off his stamp signature.

So she wrote the statement, Moore borrowed her pen to write "RayRoy" then the pen just ran out of ink (with no visible marks on the page), borrowed ANOTHER pen which he then used to complete his signature and handed it over to her so she can write the date and location?

It's not a theory at this point given that the accused partially confessed. The only question left unanswered is who is behind the coordinated attack on Moore.

If she can't actually forge his writing (the signature was copied off a stamp) then that is the only logical explanation

I've heard some folks compare it to how people commonly wrote the date/location down on the envelope when you had pictures developed but on a yearbook you're going to know when it happened.

Anyway, if the date and location are forged so is the signature because Moore DA is written with the same ink as the added date and location whereas Roy is the same as the statement. Your mental gymnastics in trying to explain why half his signature was written in a different ink is bizarre. It was written in a different ink because this is a stupid, mentally ill woman with no real forgery skills and who didn't realize the inks give off different colors depending on the angle from which you see the page.
