Nobody is forcing anyone to feel guilty for voting for Moore. What you do as an individual is weigh the evidence and decide. Are all these unconnected women lying about their experiences with Moore, or is Moore lying about all of those women. If you are going to feel guilty for voting for Moore, then don't vote for him, but don't blame others for your own feelings of guilt.

That's like when a Muslim excuses pedophilia because Muhammad married a six year old and had sex with her when she's nine.

I have NEVER heard a Muslim person do that. I HAVE heard people accuse Muslims of defending pedophilia on the basis that Muhammad is claimed to have done those things. But I have never heard or seen that defense made. Does someone have a link to where this is documented?

FYI - you proved the author's point - using 'all' instead' of 'two' is a not terribly subtle way of implying that there is something wrong with you if you vote for Moore in the face of those accusations.

Wrong. Two accusers of actual sexual abuse on the part of Moore, and a bunch more that support his having a penchant for, and a stalking and harassing of adolesent girls, as well as giving them alcohol.

Whether I believe there is something wrong with someone casting a vote for Moore is besides the point, my belief isn't the cause of the guilty feelings that supporters of Moore might experience, their own conscience is. If you actually believe that the women are making these stories up whole cloth then there is no reason for you to feel guilty, but if you feel guilty about supporting Moore then it's obviously because you believe the girls and voted for Moore anyway.

According the Pew Research Center, 49% of Alabama adults are Evangelical Protestants and these comprise a large percentage of those who supported Trump and who are supporting Moore, despite the sexual allegations against both. And, because of this Evangelicals are steadily losing their moral authority within the electorate...a fact that has not gone unnoticed by senior Republicans.
