So much for beating up on Kristi. I think we put an end to that.
I really think she's the best candidate for Trump as a VP. Same politics, has administrative experience, and she even checks one of the demographic boxes. I hear a lot of squawking about Rand Paul, but he's important in the senate and I doubt he would be interested.

"I'm not going to talk about my specific meetings with world leaders, I'm just not going to do that" is a perfect line when you've been caught out puffing yourself up by making up a meeting with a specific world leader in your book. Almost as great as inserting "I've been a children's pastor" into a lie. Huge credibility boost.

But she's not a Democrat so she should be executed for it.

If you want to compare that to other politicians' misstatements, I won't stop you but that doesn't change the topic of the thread. People have asked why some of us won't accept Noem's judgement in the matter of shooting her dog. This is another example of not only why we don't but why people shouldn't.
However, there has been some criticism of her not handling the subject well when questioned on it. I would expect a senior administrator to be adept at handing himself/herself in the face of adversity.
We'll see how it all shakes out.
