Not to mention World War 2 was made possible by pansies such as Starlight here because they refused to stand up to the Bullies.

Whereas other countries say, "why do we even need a military? We're not afraid of anyone attacking us." So countries like Iceland and Costa Rica literally disbanded their military because they aren't afraid. Whereas losers like you Bill who are sniveling cowards need to arm yourselves to the gills just to sleep at night without quivering in fear.
By that stupid logic, the guy who studies a martial art is a coward too because why does he need to learn how to fight? Yet again Starlight says something totally stupid that shows he doesn't think.

If there had been more folks like Starlight back then the folks living in New Zealand would still be talking in hushed tones[1] about how what happened in Nanking repeated in Wellington.

          1. In Japanese but as I said in hushed tones so as to not to anger their overlords.

I'm always still in trouble again

A major cause of WWII was too much bullying of Germany. The Treaty of Versailles charged them ludicrous amounts of money as reparations for WWI, so they printed money to pay the bills and it caused hyperinflation which destabilized the political environment in Germany which allowed extremists like the Nazis to rise to power. So after WWII, the Allies were careful not to be such bullies, and actually spent a lot of money helping them rebuild.

Making Germany pay reparations was decided over the objections of President Woodrow Wilson, Starlight. Europe should have listened to America that time. Good thing Europe listened to America after world war 2. But that still does not Give a pass to those who gave up land and money to the bullying Nazi's they should have told them NO But Europe like it is now let the bullies have their way in hopes that they would not attack France England and other Allied countries. But don't worry Starlight America is ready and will come to your aid when your cowardly policies lead you to where they lead you in the 1930s.

By allies you mean the U.S.? Everyone else was in no condition to do much but to try to patch themselves back together (which we were willing to help with as well).

And keep in mind that the U.S. was against seeking revenge against Germany after WWI. It was the enlightened European countries who pushed that through.

To address the OP: I don't see where international authority and image were doing me any good.
Seems like an odd comment coming from someone who lives on little more than a movie set.
Actually YOU put Trump in the White House. He wouldn't have gotten 1% of the vote if it wasn't for the widespread spiritual and cultural devastation caused by progressive policies. There's no "this country" left with your immigration policies, your "allies" are worthless and even more suicidal than you are and democracy is a sick joke that I hope nobody ever thinks about repeating when the current order collapses. - Darth_Executor striking a conciliatory note in Civics 101

It might be easier to list out things he is correct on...

Anyway, even his blame for the Treaty of Versailles being the primary cause of WWll can't be fully blamed on the causes of WWll since France had the Treaty of Frankfurt some 40 years before. In truth, the failure to enforce the Treaty of Versailles was a much bigger cause of WWll since Germany was pretty much allowed to ignore it since the allies didn't want another war. Likewise, Japan and Italy had no such Treaty in place and they both managed to join the axis powers.

                            Starlight is very knowledgeable.
