It's been 5 hours since he posted it and it's still up, although to be fair, he apparently posted it just after midnight D.C. time, so his minders will be asleep.
I think this tweet is so popular because it hits all the notes that summarize this administration: Incompetent, incoherent, tweeting after midnight, not done through proper processes.
I'm predicting that covfefe will become a new word. Twitter certainly seems to be trying at the moment. Currently the meaning seems to be "I don't care enough to continue typing this sentence."
Or possibly Trump is doing some product advertising. His daughter's probably got a new line of products he's misusing the presidency to sell...
But I would put money on the fact that a cafe somewhere will create a new special type of coffee called covfefe. Maybe it could be an orange flavored coffee (Jaffa flavor) with cream on top shaped to look like Trump's hair.
P.S. The official KFC account for UK and Ireland just tweeted that covfefe is their secret ingredient.Last edited by Starlight; 05-31-2017, 04:21 AM."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump

Liberals simply don't posses the Trump Codex.
I've translated the message... suffice it to say, all of you liberals will learn of the covfefe soon enough.Actually YOU put Trump in the White House. He wouldn't have gotten 1% of the vote if it wasn't for the widespread spiritual and cultural devastation caused by progressive policies. There's no "this country" left with your immigration policies, your "allies" are worthless and even more suicidal than you are and democracy is a sick joke that I hope nobody ever thinks about repeating when the current order collapses. - Darth_Executor striking a conciliatory note in Civics 101

Am I the only one having a difficult time caring about a Twitter typo?"The man from the yacht thought he was the first to find England; I thought I was the first to find Europe. I did try to found a heresy of my own; and when I had put the last touches to it, I discovered that it was orthodoxy."

This crisis nearly rivals the importance of whether Russian dressing is really Russian or the "scoop" that Trump took two scoops of ice cream
When do the impeachment hearings begin over this?
I'm always still in trouble again

I'll let the low-info crowd have this one. At least there's evidence this really happened, unlike conspiracy theories about Trump colluding with Russia. Some may call me foolish, and some may call me odd
But I'd rather be a fool in the eyes of man
Than a fool in the eyes of God
