It was saying that prior to using guns and electric stunners (which I mentioned) they used to just knock them unconscious, with a pole or stick.

It's no different from gay wedding cakes, except this time it's hitting two liberal voting minorities. All i feel is schadenfreude."As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths." You guys seem to be in blatant denial of the obvious: That the animal rights movement has been campaigning heavily for the last decade about the importance of killing animals humanely and the need to stun animals before killing them, and that that is the motivation for this law.
Ironically, if the religious people really believed their own claims - that their holy books' recommended way of killing animals was out of concern for animal well-being and the holy book was recommending the kindest way to kill the animals that was technologically available to the people of the day - they they ought to support new and kinder ways of killing animals that are made available to us by technology. Instead they go all literalistic and claim we have to stick with the bronze-age way of killing the animals because their holy book says so."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
"Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism" - George Orwell
"[Capitalism] as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of evils. I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy" - Albert Einstein

Do you believe it also to be motivated by anti-Muslim sentiment, or do you think being against Muslims is also anti-Semitic?

Jews have been fleeing Belgium because of the anti-Semitism:
http://forward.com/news/breaking-new...-jews-fleeing/
So yeah, while animals can be tortured in the name of improving eye liner I find it a bit curious, that in a place over run with leftist leaning anti-Semites, a relatively quick death (though not ideal) for a cow is suddenly a really big problem. Denying the people you hate a proper way to produce their food is an invitation to leave - they're basically banning ethnic food. But hey, I wouldn't want to color your analysis of the subject with statistics on Jews leaving the area - you know, maybe they're just leaving behind generations of personal history because they're paranoid?
And for the record, I'd be all about putting animals down in the most merciful way possible.
And for the record, I wish Israel would disappear if only to remove the scape goat in the middle east - maybe after the adder attaches itself to your nose you'll be able to see it.
I've no end time theology tied to Israel and even if I did I wouldn't see it as the job of the USA to preserve that state.
A sure sign a country is on the wrong path is when they try to force some prophecy.Actually YOU put Trump in the White House. Oh look:
Since 1997, the number of European countries producing foie gras has halved. Only five countries still produce foie gras: Belgium, Romania, Spain, France and Hungary

I guess white people food is exempt.
How did I know to look for this and you didn't?
