        Peer review only means that the methodology for the study is correct -- not that the conclusions are.

              Remember, these people don't judge things by actual intent merely negative outcomes. Anything that negatively impacts black people is due to white supremacy by default, just as anything that negatively impacts homosexuals is the result of homophobia. This only applies to groups they deem oppressed, which is why you don't see similar reasoning regarding white people or other groups they deem oppressors.

                Which is how you get things like a group of black police officers killing a person being cited as an example of systemic racism and white supremacy.

                        Well, to be fair it is possible to internalize hatred of a group you belong to. I don't think that the example you gave is indicative of this, but it is a thing that happens.
