Sounds like he has figured out which opinions will make him the most money.

Cool. I was hoping someone here would have some examples.

A fact checker will be along shortly to deal with this post.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

You can argue with another person who you think is wrong, but you can't argue with a "fact checker" when they are wrong.

If you are trying to convince conspiracy theorists that they have their facts about COVID vaccines wrong do you think people would listen more to some journalist or an actual medical expert?

              Alex Berenson says hello.

There is no reason the journalist can't quote medical experts.

I don't think that's the objective of a "fact checker." Their objective is not to try and convince a "conspiracy theorist" of anything, but to serve as gatekeepers so that your typical normie out there who doesn't know much about the subject or have time to research it gets the establishment narrative information and not information from a "conspiracy theorist." Since the establishment doesn't engage in conspiracies, according to them, any narrative based on a conspiracy is the erroneous narrative.

Yeah you are right. The conspiracy theorist is already convinced and any fact check no matter who it is from would just be part of the conspiracy.

Or it's that most people that research a lot and don't fall into the normie category are aware that the "fact checkers" are often bias (and I would add even outright deceptive in how they use semantics in some cases).

                        Which medical experts?

I guess that would depend on the fact being checked.

That's a bit harsh. NPR certainly leans left, but they're not looney left (unless all you listen to is the "1A" show). They're certainly not on the level of crazy leftist as, say, The Young Turks (which is one of Starlight's news sources IIRC).

I don't see any reason to believe that Fauci's opinions were influenced by a chance to make more money. (If he really wanted to make more money, he could have left government decades ago.)

As for climate alarmists, I suspect more money is made by climate change deniers.
