Did you know MM, that the restrictions put on lobbyists by Obama, have just been weakened by Trump. No, I didn't suspect you had.

MM doesn't know anything except the false information that the propaganda outlets Breitbart and Limbaugh have filled his mind with. He thus knows much less than a completely uninformed person, because he knows a large amount of false information, and so unlike the completely uninformed person who openly admits their ignorance he wrongly think's he's knowledgeable.

And the conservatives on this forum don't seem to watch news so don't realize that everyone is mocking Trump's cabinet for being the worst in modern US history. He's got the least academically qualified cabinet in a long, long time, full of people who want to abolish their own departments, and people who have got huge conflicts of interest, and people who have no experience in the field they've been appointed to, and people who are massive campaign contributors. I had concerns about Hillary's cabinet picks being terrible and corrupt, but what I feared from her (e.g. letting a few Goldman Sachs people in) was about 1/5th of how bad Trump's picks have turned out to be. Trump's claim to only hire the "best people" is shown to be a massive lie by his cabinet picks.

Very true star, Trumps cabinet picks are a bunch of plutocrats like himself and the republican Congress is afraid of him, so now all he needs do is to deligitimize the press, the intel agencies, and the judicial system and voila, he has himself a psuedo democratic dictatorship a la Putin.

I'm calling for a total and complete shutdown of Trump's government until US representatives can figure out what is going on. Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, the US cannot be the victim of horrendous administration by people that believe only in their own ego, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life. "deligitimize" the press etc? Lol. I'm not a fan of Trump by a long shot but I doubt he would be able to minimize their influence. Much as I dislike the press's tendency to distort and jump on false data, at least they don't have to sit and wait for government approval.

What conservative talking heads have been doing for decades, and what Trump is capitalizing on, is the deligitimizing of the press in the minds of the citizenry. Thats what dictators do, thats the first thing Putin did, who now rules the country with an iron fist, robbing the people blind, with no one to oversee or oppose him. If you noticed, you would see that Trump is doing the same with the Judicial system, trying to deligitimize the Judges in the minds of the public. Its dictatorship 101.

The Media has been a good job of lowering people's expectations for a good while...they don't need the help. As for the judges, please provide examples.

You are an idiot. They don't "delegitimize" the press. Dictators take over the press and make it a propaganda arm. Like the Democrats have done. They OWN the press.

No. It's exposing the fake crap the leftists who run the mainstream media outlets keep pushing as fact.

                              No he didn't.

Putin did not "delegitimize" the press. He militaristically took it over as an arm of his government. Trump isn't doing anything like that. Not even close.

They take over the press and persecute any who don't toe the line. You know sort of like how Obama sicced the IRS on reporters he didn't like or threatened them with jail.
