A fake crowd for a fake president. I would say that's appropriate. And let's not forget about the unprecedented military force numbering 25,000. I mean, why did they even bother with all of that if there wasn't going to be a crowd? They should have held the ceremony in the White House and saved the money and trouble.

I think they should have livestreamed it from Joe's basement, with 6 reporters sitting 12 feet apart in big white circles.

Personally I'm kind of surprised that they allowed armed soldiers there and didn't demand they get replaced with social workers.

I'm always still in trouble again

Personally I'm surprised you didn't go in the direction of calling them fascists for having soldiers there. I see Mossrose has you covered on that one.

I guess if you're calling them namby-pamby for wanting social workers not soldiers, and Mossrose is calling them fascist for having soldiers, then they must be threading the needle correctly as your two critiques are from opposite directions.

                        You missed the giant bible:

Apparently it's a family heirloom. And not that I personally consider it a positive, but Biden seems to take his Christianity pretty seriously. But, I guess you could say that it's big cos it has all the heretical Catholic apocryphal books in it as well as the 'correct' protestant biblical books.

And the focus of his speech was a call for unity. You might want to listen to it given your recent thread was doubting he'd try for unity from the podium.

No, it's called you having factually false beliefs about the Dems and doing propaganda to try to convince others of your false beliefs.

                            • I see Chris Wallace on Fox News said he's listened to every inaugural address since JFK, and that in his view Biden's was the best one he's ever heard.

I agree myself that it was a very well-written and well-delivered speech.

Yes, I'm aware of the liberal's penchant for wanting to redefine words to suit their agenda.

By the way, maybe ol' Joe could send a few of those National Guardsmen to Seattle where they're actually needed rather than having them cool their heels in Washington DC in order to prop up his ego.

Antifa and Black Lives Matter protesters joined forces in Seattle to block traffic in the downtown area. A video shows the protesters setting a large fire in close proximity to several commuter buses.

A group of BLM and Antifa posters shut down traffic in downtown Seattle on Wednesday night following the inauguration of President Joe Biden. The KOMO video tweeted by @The_Justice7 shows multiple cars and buses stopped by the protesters as they set a large banner ablaze.
