The real irony is that a film supposedly devoted to opposing the sexual exploitation of young girls features the actual sexual exploitation of young girls.

Few if any guys wear speedos walking down the street.

You will likely see immodesty from males at one of your pride parades.

So the common immodesty in the US is from lefty sexually charged gay pride people.

      Nice to know eh? lol
Of course, that depends entirely on your definition of 'immodesty', which is completely subjective.

I don't know about that. I personally think the idea of 'modesty' and 'immodesty' in this context is a lot of crap.

Hyphysterical was complaining about "immodest" men running around, presumably because they get her blood pressure going or something.

I went out yesterday trying to find the hordes of immodestly dressed men running around so as to do my best church lady on them, like the forum church lady expects. But alas, not a speedo in sight.

Wrong. If [according to MM] there "are countless Christian women around the world who have been taught modesty and virtue" why does this not apply to Christian men as well?

It strikes me as yet more Christian patriarchy. Women know your place etc.

Good thing it's not an argument.

Then again, a hyper anti-christian would never step into an actual church to feel the hugs and smooth over the dainty feelers.

Except that I have not judged her taste I made an observation that she appears not a fan of cerebral films or films with a little more depth to them. It does not automatically follow that my observation is correct, but it remains an informed observation based on the evidence [i.e. what she has written] that has been presented.

Given the abundant evidence of your misogyny, that's arguably not a good thing.

Speaking of dainty feelers, how long have you had the idea that hyper anti-christians are out to get you. Do you need a hug?

There is neither male nor female in the church of God.

They are not out to get me, they only harm themselves.

Based on the fact that she doesn't find this subject matter to make an interesting film? I don't either. Are you claiming that anyone who doesn't subscribe to your taste in movies doesn't like "cerebral films" or have "a little more depth"? A little more depth than what? You don't even have a point from which to measure with.

Your "observation" is nothing more than a swipe at people who have criticized a movie you like. Because you haven't got a clue what types of films people here watch unless they tell you. And they haven't.

                              Nice bit of deflection there.

Fair enough but to condemn as pornographic something you have not seen is somewhat narrow minded, prejudiced, and prudish.
