        I wish.
Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

In your dreams! It is more likely he will be a VP for Hillery.

Keep dreaming. Sanders will support Hillary in the end if it comes to that and he has publicly said as much. He has many disagreements with Hillary, but he wouldn't risk the catastrophe of losing the White House to a republican, or to a non republican like Trump.

Yeah, even though he declared her unqualified.

Things are looking better for Bernie vs Trump than Hillary vs Trump. We shall see!

True, but he also sees her as more qualified than any of the republicans, or the non-republican Trump.

In the general election, true, but he needs to win the primary first and unfortunately time for that possibility to happen is running out on him.

Well, of course - he's a pinko commie leftist!

                    or the non-republican Trump.
Oh, somebody put you in charge of determining who's a Republican?

Yeah, but it looks like your boy and his hooligans are going to do their best to '68' your convention.

It's looking like the next couple of months will be interesting whatever happens. There's so many variables in play right now.

If I were Sanders, I'd wait:
                      1. For the FBI investigation findings to be made public.
                      2. To see what terms Clinton offered after she won the nomination. (Her obvious strategic move is to offer him the VP, because polls show she really really needs those Sanders voters in order to beat Trump in November, but unfortunately I honestly believe she and her cronies are not a competent enough political strategists to see this and I think personal pettiness will prevent her from doing this.)

I certainly agree that Sanders should carefully look at running as an independent if he doesn't get the nomination. Though people say that independents can't win the presidency, it's worth noting that Sanders is the longest serving independent in US history - so he's already broken past records about winning as an independent and he knows a lot about how to do it. And Clinton and Trump are the two least-liked presidential candidates in the history of polling, so if there's any time for a 3rd party run, it's this year. And Americans are sicker than ever of the status quo two-party system and so an independent could inspire them.

The danger, of course, is splitting the vote and letting Trump sail to victory. And a decision to run as an independent would make a lot of democrats absolutely furious with Sanders. While I think that a Trump victory over Clinton is probably good in the long term for the progressive cause (having 4 years of Trump will probably make Americans so angry at the right that they deliver a super-majority to the democrats in 2020, whereas a do-nothing Clinton presidency will dishearten progressives and the right will have 4 years of their fake Clinton scandals and will hit the polls with a vengeance in 2020 and then progressives won't have a shot at the presidency until 2024), it's important that blame not get placed on Sanders (and progressives) for causing a Trump victory.
"I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
"Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism" - George Orwell
"[Capitalism] as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of evils. I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy" - Albert Einstein

Keep in mind that Sanders is not a Democrat. No party loyalty here. It seems he doesn't see any real difference between the Trump and Hillary. I tend to think that eventually he will endorse here, but it is far from a sure thing, and will likely be very half-hearted at best.

I'm always still in trouble again

And can you even remotely see Bernie running as Hillary's VP?

In politics anything is possible but I figure even he must realize that he would have no input whatsoever in a Hillary Administration
