Problems with the Big Bang Theory

So two of the best cosmologists in Max Tegmark and Lawrence Krauss (both of whom are atheists) think there is strong evidence for the earth in a special place in the universe and you think otherwise. Why would I want to follow your opinion over their opinions?

No- they don't. But they are puzzled by the alignment. And their own worldview would be more comfortable with a full misalignment. But that is irrelevant scientifically. Science itself, and most scientists, don't conduct science based on what they wish to be true. In fact a good bit of the process that has evolved for science is oriented around making it less likely results are influenced by such bias.

However, any time in science a correlation is found research must be done to determine if there is a cause or if it is random. Correlation does not necessarily imply causation. But proving a correlation random is difficult at best.
