A Planting of Faith Seeds for the Glory of the LORD
Jesus is there…
As you go about doing the things you will do today you will expose yourself to a great many things among them are a menagerie of words some will be instructive, some will be hurtful, some will be comforting, some will be words you don’t want to hear, some will be words you’re longing to hear. I’ve some words I would like to you to not only expose yourself to but to “dive” into and think about how they have impacted your life and how they will yet impact your life.
“And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God. The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.” (Romans 8:10–11, NLT)
Like you I’ve been through a great deal experiences in my life when I’ve either wondered “how am I going to get through this” or “how did I get through this” while I am unable to speak for you of me I can say, “And Christ lives within you; …the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God; … he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.”
Again speaking only for myself the Holy Spirit’s words for today are filled to overflowing with hope not hope in its "wishful thinking" mode. But hope in its "the Spirit blessed you in the past therefore you will be blessed again and again and again" mode, hope in this mode becomes prophetic thus setting the stage for a self fulfilling prophecy not only for today but for every day. Today as Patti and I find ourselves making some of the most important life changing decisions in our lives the words of the Spirit provide me with the assurance we are not making them alone, that even now the way is being prepared for us.
Today take time to look in your heart and experience Jesus. He’s there and not in words either!
Believe it! Experience it!
Grace and PEACE!
Gary
