It is like saying all infants of killers or idolaters today should be killed in order to avoid having more evil growing.
It does not occur to you that the loving, holy, and just God knows ALL the alternatives that exist, and chooses the least damaging. It does not occur to you that circumstances must be dire indeed for the loving, holy, and just God to make this choice. You simply set yourself up as judge over God and decide that he orders the killing because of the sins of their parents. It does not occur to you that God takes no pleasure in even the death of the wicked.

So be it - appoint yourself to judge God if you so choose:
1Cor 15:34 Come to your senses as you ought and stop sinning; for I say to your shame, there are some who know not God.

      • You ASSUME that the only reason for killing the infants was that their parents had sinned. Based on the records of Ezekiel (and others of the same kind) I ASSUME that there were more compelling reasons.

        • Hakeem you still have avoided answering Surah 7:64 and Surah 11:82-83. Still waiting.

Not true. This is Just God revealed in the Bible that "each is to die for his own sin" in Ezek 18:20-22, 2 King 14:6 and Deut. 24:16; hence, God's orders to kill infants in 1 Sam 15:3 contradicts that God is just according to Hebrews 6:10.

I am here discussing the title of this thread/forum "inerrancy" of the Bible.

and yet God ordering the death of infants has nothing to do with inerrancy. Instead you are calling God evil for ordering the deaths of infants while ignoring that Allah has done the same in the Quran. You are a hypocrite and your accusations have no weight.

                    • When the Bible in Hebrews 6:10 says "God is not unjust" but in contradiction God himself ordered to kill infants in 1 Samuel 15:3 and children in Ezk 9:6 and struck ALL the firstborn of Egypt in Exodus 12:29 when God commanded that "every person is to die for HIS OWN sin" in 2 Kings 14:6, this means either God practiced injustice or the Bible errs because there is no fairness in God killing innocents for the guilt of others. No human legal court would accept an innocent to die in the place of the criminal.

                        • Ecc 1:4 saying "the earth remains forever" shows, for example, the Bible errs.

                            • In Leviticus 20:9, God orders that "anyone who curses his father or his mother must be put to death"

If human legal court does NOT order to kill a person for cursing his father, then surely the Bible errs here to say God ordered the killing a person for cursing his father.
