It is my contention that it is blindly supposed that the preincarnate (John 1:2) Word who is the Son of God was "eternally begotten of the Father from eternity." I would like to debate this with someone who will defend that view from the 66 books of the Bible.

Is there not anyone on Tweb willing to argue - debate a Biblical defence for the notion that the only-begotten Son was "eternally begotten of the Father from eternity?". . . the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; . . . -- Romans 1:16 KJV

Tweb statement before:
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary being fully human and fully God. He lived a sinless life and through His substitutionary death, atoned for our sins. He was bodily resurrected and ascended into Heaven. He will return bodily, personally, and visibly.
Tweb statement as a result of my attempt to discuss the matter:
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, is eternal and shares the nature of God with the Father and Holy Spirit. We believe He is eternally one with the Father, eternally God, and that He is eternally begotten of the Father from eternity. He serves as our mediator with the Father. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, fully taking on a human nature while retaining fully His divine nature. He lived a sinless life and through His death, atoned for our sins. He was bodily resurrected and ascended into Heaven. He will return bodily, personally, and visibly.
I underlined what was added to for my exclusion on account of my attempt.Last edited by 37818; 07-05-2016, 08:43 AM.. . . the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; . . . -- Romans 1:16 KJV

Maybe someone should simply provide the Biblical basis that the preincarnate Christ being the Logos was eternally begotten of the Father from eternity.. . . the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; . . . -- Romans 1:16 KJV

In the begining was the word and the word was with God and was God. He was with God in the begining.
Gospel of John.
Now as we know Jesus, God the father, and the holy spirit are three distinct beings coequal in glory and majesty. Thus if God is eternal and acausal which he is then each figure of the trinity must to be this way.
To say that the son or the sporit is not of the same substance is heresy. Arianism.sigpic
