It's so easy for life to get in the way of being a Christian. In fact, being a Christian should BE our life.
Part of that, to me, has always been a "Quiet Time", or "private devotions", or "closet time". Some time where we get alone and spend some time with our Lord.
I like early morning. If I wait and do my payer time in the evening, I feel like I'm praying about stuff I probably wouldn't need to be praying about if I had prayed about them in the morning.
Have you had a 'quiet time' in the past, and not doing it now? I'd just like to remind us -- me, too -- that we need to spend some "alone time" with God. Jesus often did it early in the morning. To me, that's just the best time - before phones start ringing, and people start stopping by, and the day gets busy.
How bout you?
