    Marshall Brain, creator of the How Stuff Works science website, and perhaps more well known in this sphere for his online atheist advocacy, has died of an apparent suicide in his office at North Carolina State University.

        They've been having trouble with it. Some times I get a "Not found" message, other times a 404, but once or twice it works.

        A North Carolina State University faculty member and creator of the popular website "How Stuff Works" has died. Marshall Brain died inside his office Wednesday on N.C. State's centennial campus.
