  • Mike Pence pushes conspiracy theories to justify Suleimani killing

Well. The credible man with the moral integrity, Christian first and what have you.... (sarcasm) is now pushing a conspiracy theory and along the way manages to provide false information. All in the attempt to justify the killing of Suleimani.

You'd think that killing Suleimani to protect our embassy was enough. But now the disinfo has to be added.

Enough in the sense that since nobody at the embassy died that assassinating an Iranian leader in response was a massively unjustified escalation and act of war that was in no way a proportional response?

Americans don't pay attention to that sort of detail. That Suleimani was a threat to American lives is all they hear and know, thus should have been enough. You don't need to add a bunch of easily proven false facts on top of that, because then it reeks of desperation.

Don't you style yourself as anti-war? Yet here you're mildly critiquing Pence's PR and suggesting he should have exploited the ignorance of the masses to better sell this prelude to war.

I'm anti-interventionism, yeah. I think we shouldn't have been there in the first place, but that's neither here nor there. I just don't want any of these leftist wackloons to get into office. Before now, Trump pretty much had it locked. If he only caters to the rapid warmongering right with false war propaganda, I fear he's making a boneheaded decision that can diminish his election chances with the swing voters and maybe even some of the Dems that voted for him the first time.

Don't you think it's interesting that Pence stated the wrong number of 9/11 hijackers? Surely he knows the correct number and if not him then his staff. Why do you think he would make such a mistake intentionally? It's almost like this statement is intended more as a distraction than a serious attempt at justifying the action. Funny how Trump also misspells words in his tweets at convenient times when setting the internet ablaze on irrelevant stuff would be beneficial :deepthought:.

So you are pro-Trump more than you are anti-war?

I'm more pro-first and second amendment and pro-life. When you spend almost a trillion dollars on militarization, and you have bipartisan congressional support, war is going to happen regardless.

Either he's an idiot, or he doesn't care because he thinks most Americans don't know the accurate number and thinks it'll likely rile them up into a pro-war frenzy just hearing the words 911 and that's all that matters to him.

You're "pro-life", but you're pro-gun and think war is inevitable?

Doesn't seem very pro-life to me. Are you also pro-death-penalty?

So Trump picked an idiot as his VP? Or do you want to go with the second option and explore that?

You really think US politicians are generally that bright? I don't. They have access to more intel obviously, that's about it.

Most of those who call themselves "pro-choice" only support choosing supporting killing the unborn while opposing virtually every other choice.

That's why it is far more accurate to call them what they are, pro-abortion.

                              From here

"Mike Pence was born to an Irish Catholic family in Indiana. He earned a B.A. in history from Hanover College in 1981 following which he studied law at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 1986. Before politics, he was a successful attorney and hosted a local radio show. In 1985, he married an elementary school teacher, Karen. Today they have three children."

Doesn't sound like an "idiot" to me but if you really want to go there then I guess I won't stop you.
