Legally Driving 85 MPH

I was watching "Revolution" yesterday, which takes place after the world has been knocked back to the 19th century after all the electricity stopped working.

They were in Texas and were walking by an old sign that said "Speed Limit 85"

Well, here in Montana, we didn't even have speed limits* until recently.

*Technically it was "reasonable and prudent", but was struck down by the MT Supreme Court as being too vague.

Given that I don't have a license I can't even go 1 mph.

We used to drive from north central Texas to northwest Indiana. The speed limit in Indiana was 55. The 'joke' was that 1/3 of our trip was in Texas and 1/3 was in Indiana.

I drove across Nebraska once, and the speed limit is 60 or 65 most of the way. I thought we were NEVER going to get where we were going.

I've legally driven in excess of 130 mph. And done the same illegally as well (actually closer to 130 and not in excess of). That's cause I'm a rogue.
