Welcome to the TheologyWeb Community. Here in the Admissions Dept. we welcome all the newcomers. This section is only for welcome posts to announce the arrival of a new resident. Be sure to be welcomed or introduce yourself if our welcome committee is slacking.

Wow! You made it! Here you are in the Admissions and Orientation Department of Tweb! This is where the rubber first hits the road; where the pedal first hits the metal; where the nuts come out of the woodwork to make sure you feel at home here.

The Admissions area is only for welcome posts to announce the arrival of a new inmate resident, and we encourage you to leave here and head out into the great big wide world of Tweb as soon as you feel comfortable in your new username.

            My furnace thermostat is in Farenheit but the one on my remote outside gauge is Celcius.

            I learned F long before C came in. I can convert roughly, but prefer F, because it's more precise.

              Explain this, you all. My old outside gauge reading inside the house, October, 2015. Remember, it's in Celcius.

                    Oh, no I didn't. Looks like it was measuring your oven. I was more perplexed how your "outside gauge" was able to read your indoor temps.

                      The part that we look at in the house registers the inside temp. It's a 2 part system. I think the outside one needed new batteries.

                      Or, it was a pretty warm day for October!

                        I just wish they had freezing at zero instead of 32.
