What is the view on how this should be interpreted?

John 17:5 NASB20 - "And now You, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world existed.

John 17:5 NASB95 - "Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

    I am not a Trinitarian, but I am not a Jehovah's Witness.

    In context.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

In the first box in that thread I read basically that the viewpoint includes that Jesus is omniscient, which I do not believe.

The boxed quote is an introduction for the discussion. I can't find an inference of omniscience in the text, unless omniscience is automatically considered a prerequisite for godhood. Jesus certainly was not omniscient, but whether Logos had that faculty is not under consideration in the quote.
