Isiah 11:
11 Then a shoot will grow from the stump of Jesse,
and a branch from his roots will bear fruit.
2 The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him—
a Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
a Spirit of counsel and strength,
a Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
I know the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, of counsel and strength, and knowledge and fear of the Lord are gifts from the Holy Spirit.
My question is why does the text repeat "a Spirit" since it gives the impression that they are separate spirits?
Thank you.
