And ritual is really really super important in Islam, isn't it?

Golly you mean Adam wasn't the first Muslim??

Allow me to suggest a great place to start since Muhammad, his words and deeds and so on does happen to be your supreme exemplar. [That is what is repeatedly stated in the Qur'an, isn't it?] Why not read SIRAT RASUL ALLAH [The life of the prophet] Seems that would be a great starting point for some insight into what Muhammad did and said and even at time thought!! Take a good long and hard look!!

Siam is more into a white washed Disneyfied version of Islam. Showing him what Mohammed did and thought, along with what the early Muslim community did doesn't really do anything. He just hand waves it away and cherry picks stuff out of context to support his views.

All of which is simply typical for most Muslims I have encountered on Christian discussion boards.

Except I usually refer to "Islam" as they present it as a bleached out watered down Orwellian double speak version of Islam.

On the other hand, Muhammad [assuming there ever was a 'Muhammad" as presented by Islam] had the real thing.

So you would prefer the Richard Dawkins/Christopher Hitchens type of Christianity?
...would you believe them or would you believe what you know?

Hello dawagandist siam, we are NOT talking about Christianity here or now. We are talking about islam and its nonsensical absurdities, inconsistencies and plentiful contradictions.

There are no such types of Christianity you pontificate about here! There is only Biblical Christianity based on proper and good exegesis, and not cherry picked "contradictions" you frequently throw at Christians to hoodwink them, also as smokescreen to deflect & away from the koran's and islam's tons of errors and illogical contradictions.

Thats just one of the reasons for rejecting islam's claims - there are many more!

I prefer the actual teachings of the Bible. Dawkins and Hitchens aren't very knowledgeable when it comes to that. They do what you do with Islam, but in the opposite direction.

You do realize that they're avowed atheists so they don't have a "type of Christianity."

I'm always still in trouble again

"You're by far the worst poster on TWeb" and "TWeb's biggest liar" --starlight (the guy who says Stalin was a right-winger)
