Apologetics 301 Guidelines

If you think this is the area where you tell everyone you are sorry for eating their lunch out of the fridge, it probably isn't the place for you

This forum is open discussion between atheists and all theists to defend and debate their views on religion or non-religion. Please respect that this is a Christian-owned forum and refrain from gratuitous blasphemy. VERY wide leeway is given in range of expression and allowable behavior as compared to other areas of the forum, and moderation is not overly involved unless necessary. Please keep this in mind. Atheists who wish to interact with theists in a way that does not seek to undermine theistic faith may participate in the World Religions Department. Non-debate question and answers and mild and less confrontational discussions can take place in General Theistics.

I have often cited from works that are not available online.

I have a copy and I have read it. And that you have once again brought up this topic suggests you are still itching for a fight,.

As previously noted some books [or parts of them] are available online, however, that does not presuppose that I do not have hard copies of those works. However, to persistently rely on Wiki or what can be gleaned from what is available on line via Google Books or general internet sites indicates that the person who uses such sources has no such volumes to hand; and is unlikely to have actually read those works.

Both Paul and Luke refer to it. But you still have not provided supporting sources for your claim that Deuteronomy 32:8-9 (in contradiction to verse 4) shows that YHVH and El are two different entities.

That cannot be considered to be attested historical evidence without some extraneous corroborative sources.

For someone who whines about not being able to read minds when you misread something you sure do make a lot of presumptions. Hypocrite.

Points that you like to call generalized and over-simplified.

You wrote nothing that indicates that you actually read the article. And given that I purposefully included stuff that wasn't in the article but from other sources (but implied it was in the article), and that you didn't notice, demonstrates that you never read it. In fact the last thing was so bloody obvious it would be impossible to miss. That would be the rather large colored graph. None of the graphs or charts in the article were in color. They are all in black and white. That graph came from a review of the work that Frank's was largely citing.

You never commented on it, but rather were in avoidance mode by that point but if you had read the article that graph would have stuck out like a sore thumb.

Naw. I'm having too much fun exposing hypocritical fakers and frauds

Like the time you pretended to have read a post that you mocked but I had checked the number of views and it showed that nobody had read it since I looked. The thing is your arrogance and hubris actually makes it easy to catch your B.S. -- almost (but not quite) to the point of falling in the category of advice my father offered -- don't tease a dumb dog (not much accomplishment in doing so against someone incapable of fighting back).

I'm always still in trouble again

This issue requires corroborative contemporary extraneous evidence.

Why? It isn't like some sort of incredible claim was being made.
