  • Did God violate free will in Exodus 16?

Hello everyone! A few days ago I was thinking of the story of the Exodus and how God provided for the Israelites via quail and manna.
    https://www.biblegateway.com/passage...16&version=NIV
Would this mean that God took control over the minds of the quail, violating their free will? (Yes I know this probably sounds absolutely ridiculous, but I thought it was interesting to think about )

Yes, yes it does. Birds ain't sapient.
If it weren't for the Resurrection of Jesus, we'd all be in DEEP TROUBLE!

It complies with God's intent that animals be subject to humans - we have dominion over them.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

There is nothing that says God can't violate our own free will either, when it suits his plans. Like when he made Jonah go to Nineveh.

you're assuming the quail wouldn't volunteer to be part of God's amazing plan

To be dinner? Oh! Just say they'll be served. But not the details...

I'm not so sure the quail had free will to begin with.

He just heard a couple of CP's jokes attempts at humor. You can tell by the combined look of someone who is both in pain and nauseous.

I'm always still in trouble again
