An infuriated Alberta, Canada, church pastor said "gestapo" local police officers showed up Saturday night and began demanding parishioners leave Passover celebrations over COVID-19 regulations.

Pastor Artur Pawlowski of Street Church in Canada's Alberta province posted a video to Facebook on Easter Sunday, which has since gone viral across social media. In the video, six local police officers can be seen demanding that church attendees "please get out, get out of this property, immediately get out!"

"I don't care what you have to say, out!" the pastor can be heard yelling back at the officers who were attempting to disperse members inside the Alberta church Saturday evening. "Out of this property, you Nazis. Out! Gestapo is not allowed here. Do not come back, you Nazi psychopaths. Unbelievable sick, evil people. Intimidating people in the church during the Passover. You gestapo Nazi communist fascists!"

In his Facebook post, Pawlowski claimed the officers were not there to uphold social distancing guidelines, but instead only sought to intimidate Christian worshipers during one of their most holy celebrations of the year.

"I don't want to hear a word," he told the officers. "Out! Out! Out of this property immediately until you come back with a warrant, out."

That would cause a small war in Texas. As a matter of fact, I can't think of a single police officer who would comply with such an order.

Was talking to my next door neighbour, who is a former RCMP and a former city police officer. He says that the RCMP are likely only there to protect the AHS people who are putting up the fences and changing the locks. He said the RCMP will not likely be enforcing anything, but are there as "support". He talks with friends in the RCMP often and they hate these things they are forced to do which are not even part of the actual law.

He also thinks the AHS must have gotten a warrant, because otherwise they would not have been able to change the locks on private property.

And he is as appalled by this as I am.

A good size group of congregants were out during the day setting up lawn chairs and just standing around outside the gate over the road. RCMP marked vehicles and a large media presence there all day, also.

It's really quite terrifying.
