I've done a survey of the writings of apostle John (the Gospel, Epistles and Revelation) and found that ad sensum construction is never used with demonstratives in the nominative case. I suspect that this holds true with the other [non-Johannine] GNT writings as well. Furthermore, I suspect that constructio ad sensum does not occur with demonstrative pronouns in the other cases as well (accusative, dative and genitive). Though I cannot be dogmatic on this latter assertion as I've not done the necessary research.
If someone can highlight an irrefutable example of an ad sensum construction involving a demonstrative pronoun , especially in the nominative case and in the writings of apostle John, I would greatly appreciate it.
