        If I want bacon then I'll eat bacon. Most of these seasonings don't taste much like bacon. I even had some bacon-flavored Spam once. Ya know what? Tasted the same as regular spam.

          Yeah, REAL bacon, crispy, like we used to get before the war.

          Occasionally, I'll be in a restaurant where they have those phony "bacon bits" ---

              Up and down all night -- the pain meds are supposed to, as a side effect, make me sleep, but I kept feeling "wired" --- wide awake, then groggy, then wide awake...

                My mom relatively recently bought a cookie jar that says "Don't go Bacon My Heart" on it. Apparently it was just so funny to her she just had to have it.
