  • Chopping Ye Mighty Tree

To the untrained observer, this probably doesn't look like a 225 foot tall - 4 foot diameter tree. But it fell with a mighty thud as I wielded ye old axe!!!!

Do you chop wood? Do you have a chainsaw? Are you outdoorsy at all?

Your axe makes cuts remarkably like a chainsaw.

And how big is that bucket in the background, anyway?
Enter the Church and wash away your sins. For here there is a hospital and not a court of law. Do not be ashamed to enter the Church; be ashamed when you sin, but not when you repent. – St. John Chrysostom

Not an axe sign anywhere in either picture.

When I lived out in the bush I fell plenty of trees with an axe - my first year. Then I managed to buy a chainsaw, big improvement. Now days I only have a little electric chainsaw for emergencies, mostly smaller stuff than real trees. The last few years all I have cut were Willows and Alders that were encroaching on my driveway.

Looks like he talked one of the Ninja Squirrel Assassins assigned to "keep an eye on him" into demonstrating his martial art skillz by chopping the tree up with their deadly paws.

Another great story ruined by an eyewitness!

Well, truth be known, this was a $74 chainsaw from Lowes, and the tree is (was) about 25 feet tall.

Oh, and who taught you how to cut down a tree? Of course a 25 footer is fairly easy to control.
